Who we are? Artist-Craft is a new website which aims to be different from other online arts and crafts galleries by offering you more choice and a more personal service. Our small creative team are available to offer you advice and support at all times. We are committed to what we do which is to promote and help creative people to earn money from their talents. We also pride ourselves on our friendly and honest service and guarantee that there are no hidden or less transparent costs which you may find with many other similar sites.
All contact with Artist-Craft is made via e-mail and we upload all your work for you. Why do we do this? Because uploading work is time consuming and would take you away from what you do best – creating your art and craftwork. Also, we believe in offering a personal service which allows us to stay in touch with both our customers and potential buyers. It also allows us to display your work to its best advantage which is beneficial to you and promotes more sales.
We understand that if you are just starting out in the arts and crafts field and haven’t yet made money from the sales of your work that you may not wish to pay an up front membership fee initially as many art and craft sites charge. We have therefore given you the choice and you can opt for our annual membership fee of £30.00/E35.00 per annum, or you can apply for free membership which carries a 20% commission rate on any sales you make.
Why do we charge? Our aim is to provide the best service possible for our customers and we are constantly advertising our website in order to generate as much traffic as possible. We have kept the service to buyers as simple as possible by offering an online PayPal option. Every money transfer costs us money and so we charge a fee for our expenses which includes advertising.
